Am I missing something? Theaters didn’t open up.

    • Ashley

Depends on where you live. 🤷‍♀️

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Not all areas are closed. We have theaters open where I am in Oklahoma City.

    • Mel

Yes, ours are open and we go at least once a week!!!

      • todd

Darn…I miss going to the movies soooo much.

Plenty of states are NOT under government shutdowns.

That’s a huge NO. I’m in what one would call a red state, theaters aren’t open. After initial closure, a few of ours opened for just a few weeks and quite smartly, no one went. They shut down again with no estimated reopen date. Plus the number of “new” movies onlineing out is quite limited, and those that have the biggest chance to be a blockbuster are being concurrently released online- much safer. They tried $5 classic movies too and no one wanted the risk for a movie they’ve already seen, either. Just not worth the risk.

LOL. Our theaters are open but they are not allowed to serve food

  4. Evie

That does not make sense. How many people have contacted covid via food or a surface.
Many I know have contacted it, by doing what they want, not what they are suppose to do.
I will keep wearing my mask and keep my distance.

Wow…I thought all theaters were still closed up and most were outta business.

    • Sparrowfly

We have seen several things at the theater we missed the first time around like “Elf” and “The Emperor’s New Groove”. Also saw the new Wonder Woman. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Purchased tickets tonight, so we should each get another free ticket to go back!
