Hulu Will Increase Live TV Package Rates on December 18th
Hulu has announced that it will be raising the price of its live TV packages effective December 18th, 2020.
On that date, the monthly cost of the Hulu + Live plan will go from $54.99 to $64.99 for both new and existing subscribers – an increase of about 18%.
This plan originally cost around $40 when it launched back in 2017.
The “Hulu (No Ads) + Live” plan is also set to increase on December 18th about 14% from $60.99 to $70.99 per month. At this time, it looks like Hulu’s planned price hikes will only impact the streaming plans that include live TV in addition to Hulu’s on-demand library.
So far, no changes have been announced for Hulu’s on-demand-only streaming services. They’re currently priced at $5.99 for the ad-supported plan and $11.99 for the ad-free plan. Better yet, if you were able to score the HOT Black Friday deal we shared here, you’ll still have a full year to enjoy Hulu’s ad-supported plan for just $1.99 per month!
