Hulu Will Increase Live TV Package Rates on December 18th

Hulu has announced that it will be raising the price of its live TV packages effective December 18th, 2020.

On that date, the monthly cost of the Hulu + Live plan will go from $54.99 to $64.99 for both new and existing subscribers – an increase of about 18%.

This plan originally cost around $40 when it launched back in 2017.

The “Hulu (No Ads) + Live” plan is also set to increase on December 18th about 14% from $60.99 to $70.99 per month. At this time, it looks like Hulu’s planned price hikes will only impact the streaming plans that include live TV in addition to Hulu’s on-demand library.

So far, no changes have been announced for Hulu’s on-demand-only streaming services. They’re currently priced at $5.99 for the ad-supported plan and $11.99 for the ad-free plan. Exactly my thoughts! And to think, streaming content because it was less expensive is what got me to cut the cord anyway! Seems as though they are all increasing prices!

When you factor in the internet need to stream hulu cable is looking like a better option again such as xfinity.sorry hulu you lost my business do to greed will be canceling

Left YouTube TV for Hulu when they increased their price 35% earlier this year. But now with this increase, Hulu will be more expensive since you have to pay to skip onlinemercials (whereas YTT doesn’t charge for that). So back to YTT we go. And if this keeps up, people will go back to Directv and Dish.

We also had YouTube TV until the price increase and then switched to Hulu Live. With Hulu’s price increase, we cancelled and switched to TVision for $40 a month.

I think we are going to have to change as well. That is too many price increases. I can’t even get it to work consistently on one of our smart TVs.

Not worth it. They know a lot of people are stuck at home so cashing in. Pretty low. Philo has everything I’m interested in for $20. Bye Hulu.

I started out with Hulu and switched to Philo. There is a free app called Locast available in my area that brings in local stations. (they do run their own onlinemercials asking you to donate $5 a month but you don’t have to. the onlinemercials are annoying but I mostly watch Philo and just tune into Locast if i need to see the local news or weather).

Cut cable and went to Sling. They increased pricing so we switched to Hulu live. With their increase we’re going back to cable.

We have to start voting with our wallets! I refuse to pay cable prices. After all, all these streaming services were born because people wanted cheaper alternatives. Instead of adding more and more channels that people don’t watch – stick with less and offer different packages so people can decide for themselves how much they want to pay. I canceled Hulu live last time they increased prices.

Hulu is beonlineing a joke!! They only decided to do this when they cut Nexstar off because Nexstar won’t give into them for their increase!! So to piss people off they went after the consumer, just like Directtv dish, wow and spectrum did! I switched to just internet but now wow raised their service to almost 80 a month for internet only!!
All these onlinepanies are crocked as hell

Enough already! I’m like many of you. Got rid of Dish & got a fire stick. Got Hulu & Netflix. Dropped Netflix when they raised their rates. Thought about dropping Hulu the last increase. Now it’s a given!! Shove it!!

I have t-vision it’s new but so far so good it’s $40 $50 or $60 depending on the plan you chose and the hub is only $50 and you own it
