Saved by the Bell is BACK! The Reboot Premieres on Peacock November 25th
School’s back in session at Bayside High once again, with a reboot of Saved By The Bell set to begin streaming on Peacock next month. This revival follows a new crew of high schoolers (including Zack and Kelly’s son, Mac Morris) as they join original cast members now playing grown-up versions of their beloved characters. Check out the series description from Peacock:
When California governor Zack Morris gets into hot water for closing too many underfunded high schools, he proposes they send the affected students to the most well-funded schools in the state – including Bayside High. The influx of new students gives the privileged Bayside kids (who never have a problem that can’t be solved in twenty-two minutes) a much-needed dose of reality.
Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, Tiffani Thiessen, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar are all returning for the reboot with Zack as the governor of California, Kelly as his first lady, A.C. Slater as a Bayside gym teacher, and Dr. Jessie Spano as a school guidance counselor. Notably absent from the Season 1 cast of characters are Screech and Lisa Turtle.
The Saved By the Bell revival has a new look for less of that Saturday morning feel, but still all the heart you’d expect from the original series. You can check out the trailer over on Peacock.online, where the show will begin streaming on November 25th – just in time for Thanksgiving binge-watching!
