   Just a heads up, looks like replacement filters are very expensive, if you can find them that is. Just an f.y.i. before you purchase.

   I don’t know about this model, but I have two Winix C535 filtration systems (mine are the ones with the dark panel in the photo next to the bed above). Costco sells Winix systems from time to time, and I bought my C535 several years ago in the warehouse. I love the one I have!

   They work VERY well. It’s actually hilarious when a dog is lying in front of it and farts, as this device senses the noxious gas automatically and flips itself over from “green light” quiet mode to “red light” active mode, sucking up more air to filter it!

   The C535’s triple filter system is pretty reasonable to maintain: the permanent filter can be vacuumed with a soft brush regularly, the secondary filter is good for three months, and true-HEPA one is good for a year. Each replacement filter pack of filters has 4 of the 3-month filters plus one of the year-long filters, so you get everything you need for the year in the package. I buy them from Costco.online, where a 2-pack (that’s two years worth of filters) costs $89.99, shipped. I don’t know if this Woot model uses the same filters or not though!

  Just looked on Costco.online, and this cheaper unit on Woot is much smaller, and takes a smaller, less available filter. I’d wait for the larger units with the easy-to-find filters to onlinee through Costco, as they have them in the stores annually, often on coupon for around $140.
