I would so jump on this, but our town just cancelled trick or treating. Maybe I still will, Halloween is my favorite holiday to decorate. One of these would look great on our deck facing the onlinemunity pond

I’m curious – how does a city cancel trick or treating? Like are they threatening to arrest people?

      • Holly

I honestly laughed out loud at this. I’m curious to. And who gets arrested? The trick-or-treater? Or the candy hander-outer? I have questions….

My kids will not be trick or treating. I will not hand out candy this year. But I am having a party for my 6 kids. Bobbing for apples, halloween hunt, pumpkin carving, making carmel apples, costumes, games, hot apple cider, spooky food etc… it’s going to be a night they never forget. I feel sorry for the kids that are desperate for the candy because they actually get to eat dinner that night.

            Whatever this post means…

Cancelled in August? That seems a bit early to make the call. Hopefully things continue to improve and families, towns, and groups can manage a celebration they are happy with.
