Over 40,000 Pounds of Ground Beef Have Been Recalled | Check Your Fridge & Freezer
Have you seen the latest recall in food news??
It’s time to check your fridge and/or freezer! Approximately 40,000 pounds of ground beef are being recalled from Lakeside Refrigerated Services in New Jersey for possible E. coli contamination.
The products included in this recall have the establishment number EST 46841 inside the USDA mark of inspection and were produced on June 1st. Sold at Walmart and other stores nationwide, the meat has a “use or freeze by” date of 6/25/20, 6/27/20, or 7/01/20, depending on the brand and package size.
The Food Safety and Inspection Services advises that you check your refrigerator and freezer for these items. If found, these products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
