I noticed the item you purchased was only $9.99 and you used a $4 off coupon, but you were still able to get the $5 EB. Is that always how it works or does it vary by store?
Thanks and appreciate all you all do each day.

Some stores follow the 98% rule…meaning if your purchase reaches 98% of the needed amount, you will receive your ExtraBucks. Some stores do follow the 98% rule and some don’t. The only way to find out if your store does is to try it out. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Hope that helps. ☺️

Hi Karen. The $9.99 will trigger the EB. Usually within $.10 or less of the price to get EB’s, I always get my EB’s. Someone else might have the exact cents off that will trigger EB’s. If so, please share. Thank you all!

Today at CVS I purchased a 10.39 PF eyeliner and used the 4.00 coupon from red machine. The 5.00 EB didn’t print and they said it was because after the 4.00 was deducted, I didn’t spend 10.00. They finally relented and forced the 5.00 EB. But they really didn’t want to. I think their software is messed up sometimes.

Bummer-I bought concealer that was $10.29 with the $4 coupon and the $5 Ecb printed. I get so frazzled at the checkout when things don’t print as they should.

I can say after years of CVS’ing, coupons DO NOT deduct off your spending total. So, when an EB doesn’t print as expected, first thing I look at is the tracking on my receipt. What exactly does it say for the Phys Formula deal? I myself haven’t done this deal, but if the $4 was deducted then tracking on your receipt would show $6.39. If there’s no tracking at all, then that particular item’s upc must have been missed. Item might have been on clearance, and clearance doesn’t track for eb deals. Or, and this has happened to me before, I bought the wrong brand! Once I grabbed some eyeliners for a NYX deal and when EB didn’t print, realized one of the liners was Wet N Wild!
If your receipt shows that offer limit was reached, you could possibly have digital receipts turned on. EB’s won’t print on the receipt, but they will show up in the app as well as your emailed receipt, which you can send to your card or print at home.
