Walmart Launching Express Delivery | Groceries Delivered in Less Than 2 Hours
Want your grocery order on your doorstep in less than 2 hours?
Meet Walmart’s new Express Delivery Service! This new service delivers more than 160,000 items from Walmart’s food, consumables and general merchandise departments to your door in less than 2 hours. This includes groceries, everyday essentials, toys and electronics.
In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, Walmart has accelerated the development of this new service which has been tested in 100 stores since mid-April. The service will now expand to almost 1,000 stores in early May and will be available in nearly 2,000 total stores in the following weeks.
This new service is gonna cost you!
Like Walmart’s other pickup and delivery services, there is no markup on items – an item is priced the same as it is on the shelf. However, this new express service will cost you an extra $10 on top of the existing delivery charge. If you are a Walmart Delivery Unlimited customer, you will pay a $10 fee per Express Delivery.
To see if Express Delivery is offered in your area, follow these steps:
- Go to walmart.online/grocery or the Walmart app
- Search your zip code
- If available, add items to your cart and then at checkout, select Express Delivery.
- Pay for your order and sit back and wait for your delivery to arrive within two hours – the delivery will be 100% contactless as no money is exchanged at the door.
