Disney Parks Now Offering Annual Passholders a Partial Refund
Disney Parks Annual Passholders have a decision to make… 🤔
With Disney Parks closed in the US due to the coronavirus, both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort have announced some new options for Annual Passholders. Now, Passholders can choose to either receive an extension of their Annual Passes or begin the process of receiving a partial refund instead.
Here are the current options for Disney Parks’ annual passholders:
For Walt Disney World Annual Passholders:
Annual Passholders who have paid in full:
- Passholders who have paid in full will get their expiration date extended for the number of days the parks are closed. The new expiration date will be reflected on the Annual Passholder’s account prior to the reopening of the parks.
- Passholders may choose to receive a partial refund for the park closure period instead of the extension. To request this option, contact VIPASSHOLDER Support at (407) 939-7277.
Annual Passholders on the monthly payment plan:
- On April 5, 2020, Walt Disney World stopped monthly payments and will continue to waive them while the parks are closed. Payments made between March 14 through April 4, 2020 will also be retroactively refunded. Payments will resume on the Passholder’s regularly scheduled payment dates once the parks reopen. Pass expiration dates will not be extended and Passes will expire on their originally scheduled expiration dates.
- Guests using the monthly payment program may choose to have their monthly payments postponed through the park closure period, and then resumed on the Passholder’s regularly scheduled payment date once the parks reopen. Delayed payments will be collected in the months following the end of the Passholder’s currently scheduled payment term and the pass will be extended the number of days the parks are closed. To request this option, contact VIPASSHOLDER Support at (407) 939-7277.
