T-Mobile is also offering 50% off when you add a line or trade in a iPhone.

  2. Gscribble

I already have AT&T, so if I do the AT&T deal, will it work with the line I already have, or would I have to get a different plan or something?

Can’t say for sure but usually it is add a new line. You can call and see if you are eligible for a loyalty deal. The loyalty deals are only available to existing customers and are only done by calling and not in the store. Be careful that you are actually talking to someone in the loyalty Dept because it can go badly if you get someone who doesn’t know what they are doing. Read all agreements before signing.

If you do the AT&T deal at Walmart, it looks like it is for upgrade only so it doesn’t appear a new line is required. Click “Payment Options” above the blue Pre-Order button to see more details.

  3. SM

I’m guessing w/ Verizon it has to be a new line?

  4. Gscribble

What’s the fine print? Why is it half the price at Walmart? I’m skeptical

I’m guessing because they have gotten you locked in at ATT for 30 months and Verizon for 24 months and unable to switch carriers while spending a very small amount of money. Moneymaker for them.

I agree what’s the fine print w/ Walmart? We always upgrade thru Best Buy w/ no problem.

  5. Klp

I’ve heard that activating a phone with Verizon at Walmart messes up your plan. Does anyone have positive or negative experience doing this?

  6. Beth

Ordered best buy and then cancelled and got the Walmart deal. The Verizon chat guy told me the upgrade should be no problem – hope he’s right! The 256 gb was $349!

  7. debbie

Is anyone else having trouble signing into Verizon to check eligibility? It says “we are unable to retrieve your account data. Please try again later”. It’s not a login issue since I was able to log into Verizon on a separate browser tab.

    • Klp

I tried in Firefox and Chrome and got the same message.

  11. Amberd68

Looks like they are out of stock on everything but the 64GB at Walmart

  12. Klp

  14. sej

    • sej

The Walmart deal that is 😊

  15. Joelle

On Wednesday 4/22, I ordered the Iphone SE (2nd Gen) 64 GB on Best Buy for Sprint and it was $369.99. This is to replace my husband’s 4S (his first Iphone from so long ago). The electronic $50 gift card arrived in my email yesterday (4/23) and the phone arrived this morning (4/24) via UPS at my door. When he gets home from work I will activate it with help from Sprint online. This was so much better than a thousand dollar Iphone 11 or a rental.
