National Geographic Launches FREE Website for Kids w/ Games, Experiments, Videos & More
Looking for a new and free educational resource for your kids?
With the coronavirus shutting down schools, many parents and educators are looking for ways to keep kids academically engaged at home.
National Geographic has responded to this crisis by launching NatGeo@Home, a digital hub full of fun and educational activities designed to keep students and their families connected with science.
Developed by educators and science journalists, NatGeo@Home was launched this week in partnership with the Disney Magic Moments website.
It’s full of free educational resources for students in grades K-12 including games, videos, and live daily talks with National Geographic Explorers. The activities cover topics like wildlife, ocean conservation, photography, space exploration and more.
Adults can also use NatGeo@Home to receive expert advice on how to guide children through these challenging times. Parents and educators will have access to National Geographic’s in-depth reporting on COVID-19, tips for teleworking with kids, and a useful “Coronavirus 101” guide to help answer kid’s questions about the virus.
Keep your kids learning at home with these FREE educational websites!
