   I have been on a keto diet since, after injuring myself/surgery, pt, etc. Took me a little over a year to recover. I gained weight. 187.8………I’ve lost alot…down to 148………..so, are you TRYING to torture me with that picture. I would LOVE to spoon and slurp that down right now. But, alas, I guess I’ll do what I always do when I see something and my mouth starts to salivate. I TELL myself that the beautiful peppermint blizzard is really made of PLASTIC and IS NOT FOR ME!!!!!!!!! I promised myself I WILL NOT GAIN the weight BACK. : ) But you should, ENJOY YOUR BLIZZARD.

  No, but I will……….I keep a can of aerosol whipping cream in the fridge. Occasionally, I’ll shoot a one or two squirts into my mouth……….It’s a moment of bliss.

  Sue I was on keto diet for 1 year and lost over 25 pounds. Since I went off the keto diet in just a matter of a few months I have gained back 15 pounds. I wish I had stayed on the diet! My blood work was fantastic while on the diet I’m afraid to have it checked now that I’m eating carbs again😞

  Denise, You can do it again. I feel that sticking to any diet is more about what is going on above my shoulders, than below. It is difficult to stick with, sometimes I allow myself something, but it is rare. I would like to lose 10-15 more pounds. Hopefully, I will gradually get to a nice plateau. Then, the challenge will be finding that sweet spot. That is, knowing how many carbs, I can eat per day, without gaining. I wish you the best, but the time to get back to it must be right for you!!! : )

  You should have seen at the cheesecake factory this week-end checking out the slices of cheesecake in the window case. my mantra……….”they’re all plastic, they’re all plastic.” “they’re NOT FOR YOU.” the I looked at the calories, carbs and price……and smiled as I walked away. : )

   Blizzards are one of my favorite sweet treats ever! I tried last year’s hot cocoa blizzard, and it was so well done in terms of capturing the flavor of hot chocolate. This one should be fun with the candy cane bits.
