   If you’re going to invest in a Technivorm, I reonlinemend getting the one with the insulated metal carafe (not the glass one). It keeps the coffee hot without putting a heating element under the coffee (which destroys the flavor). I love my Technivorm (and literally gave away the last Keurig I owned because they make such weak, plastic-infused swill onlinepared to this device).

   Love ours and we find that their technology allows this to keep the temperature & flavor perfect. I am a stickler about the temp and this system works. However, you cannot keep it running with a tiny amount in the pot. It will automatically shut off, though, so it would not stay hot if unattended forever. It doesn’t have a programmer but I do have a friend who bought one and added that and he loves it. I just get the thing ready the night before and hit the button when I’m ready in the a.m.
