We get the sculpture for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter every year. It’s beonlinee a tradition in our family holidays.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

That’s so cool! Those are new to me, but I’m looking for them this year, Donna!

  2. Patty

Being a Va Tech Hokie, I LOVE THIS.

    • Cassie

      Hello fellow Hokie!

  3. Angela V.

I hope they sell these in a store near me, so I can give one to my dad. At first I thought my dad was doing a side hustle. Our last name is Keller, and as a child his mom had to put a lock on the fridge door as he’d sneak sticks of butter to eat. 🙂

    • Gentle

😆 I used to eat sticks of butter as a child! I thought I was the only one.

      • Lisa

I ate a whole stick of butter when I was little… lol

    • betsy

My father (farm boy born in 1909) always shared stories of eating freshly churned butter when his mother wasn’t looking.

  4. PrincessMom

So cute!! Thank you, the only one of those stores near me is Walmart and I hardly ever go there. Now I’ll make a trip to look for these! 😃

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      I hope you find them!

  5. Deb

We get the turkey shaped butter at Thanksgiving, the Christmas tree shaped butter at Christmas, and the bunny shaped butter at Easter. The Easter one was originally a lamb shape. They switched it to the bunny shape a few years ago. I can only find them at one of our local grocery stores.

    • Debbie H.

I make my own butter lambs, it’s a Polish Easter tradition. Plastic butter lambs molds are available online, and pretty inexpensive. Plus, when butter is on sale, I can get a pound for 1.99 or a super sale for 99 cents!

      • Lo

Thank you! I was just thinking I could DIY. I’m guessing just soften it and push into mold?

  6. Ali

I got turkey shaped butter last year at Fresh Market

  7. Linda Pearl

How fun! Did I miss the price?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      They sell for around $3.99!

  8. Lindsay

If possible, would you please post the item number so I could check Brickseek for Walmart so I could check inventory before driving to a bunch of Walmarts looking for this neat product?

  9. Jamie

Oh man my 4 year old would love this! If I leave butter on the counter it disappears. He would eat it by the stick if I’d let him.

  10. Angela P

We make something similar to this with just regular butter and cookie cutters. Plus you can make more of them and put them around the table for people to share. plus I can just use the better I already bought for a hundred things and cookie cutters verity have. Just something about her push it into the cookie cutter smooth it off with a butter knife at the top and then put it in the refrigerator. When when is cool just pulled off the cookie cutter and you have whatever shape you wanted to make. We love them.

  11. joanne randel

  12. Rebecca

I always seem to forget that just b/c something is in your area it doesn’t mean it’s everywhere! These have been in PA ever since I can remember… it’s always fun to see the different things that are/aren’t new to people!
