    I’ve noticed that the dyes in frosting and ice cream give me a headache. Especially if it’s so dark, probably because it takes a ton of dye to get that color.

    Some places are using food grade charcoal to get the black color instead of dye in cakes, cookies, and ice cream. Sounds awful but charcoal is onlinepletely tasteless and safe to eat.
