   We tried them yesterday!! They are super good and taste almost exactly like a beef Whopper to me. If you want it truly vegan, hold the mayo and ask them to warm it up separately from the beef grilled items.

   We tried them. They weren’t bad but I couldn’t finish whole thing. I do not think it will beonlinee a regular item I will order.

   As a vegan I was thrilled to have a choice at a fast food place, we have had it twice now and although it’s still junk food every once in a while or on the road it’s nice for an alternative. I just hope it lasts longer than the 30 day period. The tide is changing 🙌

  We’ve had it for several months here in South FL so maybe that’s a good sign? I can see someone who hasn’t had meat in many years thinking it tastes just like meat. But if you had a Whopper just yesterday, I don’t get that! I think it’s pretty good for what it is, but I’m always surprised at people who insist plant-based food taste just like meat. I don’t think everything vegetarian/vegan needs to be a substitute for meat.

  it’s not necessarily made with you in mind. it is a type of substitute for people who do enjoy beef and have had a hard time giving it up, yet know it is an unsustainable way of life as the world population grows.
  i DO want a substitute, and have had a number of delicious Impossible and Beyond dishes.
  it works especially well for mixed families (where some will eat meat and some will not) and in dishes where meat is mixed in with other things, like casseroles or burritos, etc.

  I’m with you, Emily NYC, and you said it PERFECTLY. Why would I want to taste something I want to give not eat. We tried the Beyond Burger at Carl’s Jr, and they were REALLY good. I have not tried the Impossible yet. What I DON’T get, though, is why the Beyond Burger features real cheese and not vegan or no cheese?! Baby steps, I guess…

   My husband and I tried the Impossible Whopper a few weeks back. I’ve been a vegetarian for about 20 years, and my husband eats meat. We both enjoyed this burger. My husband also preferred the taste of this burger over a regular Whopper. Because I seldom go to fast food restaurants and tend to be a grazer with respect to how much food I eat at a time, this was a full meal for me.

   I am vegetarian. I tried impossible burger. I like this than the veggie burger they serve in Burger King. The burger is big and tasty.

   It’s great there’s an option for vegetarians/vegans. I just don’t understand the meatless meat thing. To me, it’s Frankenfood. Here’s the ingredients: Water, Soy Protein Concentrate, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil, Natural Flavors, 2% or less of: Potato Protein, Methylcellulose, Yeast Extract, Cultured Dextrose, Food Starch Modified, Soy Leghemoglobin, Salt, Soy Protein Isolate, Mixed Tocopherols (Vitamin E), Zinc Gluconate, Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1), Sodium Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Niacin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Vitamin B12.

  This is why I can’t get behind all these vegetarian “meats”. I like knowing what’s in my food. However, I am thankful more fast food places are rolling out better options. Times are changing 🙂

  Cassie and Amanda, maybe you two should ask for the ingredients list of the meat burgers you eat. You’d be surprised! Also, i only see like 4 ingredients in the list you posted. The others are vitamins and things that you may find in many non vegetarian food items. 😉

   I had it last week and it was so good! I am not vegan but I want to reduce my carbon footprint and eat less animal based products. This has definitely beonlinee my fast food go to! P.S. feel free to request it with cheese if you are a vegetarian and not vegan

  Impossible Burgers are also higher in fat and contain carbohydrates, while beef burgers do not contain any carbs.

    I tried it over the weekend and it tasted so similar to what I remember meat tasting like that it was honestly hard to finish! I couldn’t get past the mindset that it wasn’t beef!
