    This is awesome. I have worked with kids with special needs and sometimes clothes are an issue. I know “normal” kids that don’t like certain things in their clothes so these lines should hit a wide market.

      I agree! I always had to modify my son’s clothes at home for special needs. These would have been great (less work)!

      My store said they would take them starting June 26th, but I don’t have that option when I try to start the return on Amazon.

      Only certain Amazon returns can be made at Kohl’s. And they must be initiated through Amazon. Amazon will give you a barcode to take with you to Kohl’s customer service. If you do not see that option available on Amazon then it is not eligible for return at Kohl’s.

    This is phenomenal! Finally a “mainstream” retailer that understands the struggle of finding pants that cover the back of a 22 year old’s diaper! Some have gotten on the trend of the “no tag” thing but having that bit of extra material in the back of pants and shorts is truly a game changer for those who wear a diaper. The struggle is real! 🙂 And the fact that it onlinees from Kohl’s and the price isn’t inflated because it is “adaptive “ is just the best.

      Yes! Plus….screen printing has latex and there are many with latex allergies!

    I totally applaud this. Although, it’s a little disappointing that it takes a push for “adaptive” for them to make changes such as higher rises in the back, wider necklines, and tagless tops. I would consider these things as something that the everyday person would prefer or benefit from, I know my kids would and they aren’t part of the target audience with this new clothing line.

      I agree! I have a son w sensory issues so this is very helpful and long overdue. But also who wants itchy tags or seams?! All clothes should be made like this.

    THIS IS FANTASTIC !! I i am someone who is not at all familiar with the needs of any of these clothes but now i am. I love when uneducated people such as myself are opened up to new thing. How wonderful for parents or caregivers that will find this helpful and a BIG HOORAY for the males and females who are going to benefit from this. I see nothing but happier people with much more self esteem and confidence now that they will be more onlinefy and at ease in their new clothes.
    Everybody loves to go shopping for themselves and buy new clothes, now even more people can enjoy a shopping spree. I had a friend in college with spina bifida and now i see what a help some of these styles can be. Im sooo excited for everyone ! 😃

    I applaud the effort but I have to say Kohls is the worst retail store in terms of accessibility for people in wheelchairs. I avoid taking my daughter there if at all possible because of all the obstacles in the walkways and how closely packed all the clothing racks are together.

      This is sad but true. You should call and speak to the GM. By law they are supposed to make the store wheelchair accessible.

      I agree and I’m just speaking as a mom with a kid in a stroller. Target has beonlinee the same with all of their huge displays right in the middle of the main walkway aisles. It’s so aggravating getting stuck or having to back up and take a different route, it really makes me not want to shop there.

      I can’t get a stroller around in Kohl’s. Never mind a wheelchair! Had my MIL in a wheelchair at Walmart and that was hard enough, and Walmart has fairly spacious aisles.

    I’ve also seen ads/posts on Facebook for a similar line of clothing by Tommy Hilfiger. Of course those onlinee with a designer price tag, but still great that there are more options available.

    This is so awesome! My daughter has Autism and has SEVERE sensory issues. She needs clothes that are very soft. My nephew has Down Syndrome and Autism. He also has major sensory issues. This is going to help our family tremendously. Finally from a major retailer in our city (not just online) and affordable. Thanks for the update hip2save!

    Not sure how “adaptive” these are. I get the tagless, but you can get that in many brands. My nephew who is in a wheelchair and has a feeding tube that he’s constantly pulling at. My sister loves to put him in onsies, so he doesn’t have access to the tube. It’s hard to find them in 4T and bigger. Target’s line of adaptive clothing has many more options.     I love this, but wish they had jammies included. It’s so cool that some of their stuff is Disney and it would be fun to have that as an option rather than just plain onesie jammies.

    My daughter has sensory processing disorder and clothes and shoes have been our biggest nightmare day in and day out since she was 2 years old. I just gained so much respect for Kohl’s because trying to find soft clothing that is loose with flat or no seems that is still some what cute for a 7 yr old girl is few and far between. Can’t wait to see what options they have and maybe sometime soon there will be a sensory friendly shoe line as well??? Hint hint.

    This is great! However, they need to extend this in the girls plus size clothing too!! My daughter has Down syndrome and is in girls plus size so these won’t help. At least Kohl’s carries girls plus size online but I really wish they would carry it in their stores. For the sake of having my daughter try clothes on, I have to shop at JCPenney and Justice! I can’t afford to buy multiple things not knowing if they fit & wait for shipping when I may need it quickly! All other sizes are carried in the store so I wish they would start carrying girls plus also!

    Plus size would be great.(And not all girls like girlie girl and unicorns) My daughter is broad in her arm and shoulder area and doesn’t like most tee shirts because the arm holes are too tight for her.

    This is great!! My son has Sensory Issues and finding pants that are just right is so hard. He wears pajama bottoms to school. I hope there are pants similar to pajama bottoms….soft, no pockets and loose fitting with no tags in solid colors. He also has a terrible time with socks. We have yet to find a seemless sock and believe me, I’ve tried just about every type of sock available. We finally found some ankle socks from Hanes (red label) that he will wear but we have 4 pairs and i cannot find them anywhere any more. I am also a Special Education Teacher so I am thrilled Kohl’s has options for some of my students. Thank you for including all kids! I also look forward to some soft, seemless socks for boys in the near future! 😉
