Speaking of ranch here is an opportunity to ask if anyone knows of a brand or a place where you can buy restaurant style ranch dressing? I dont like Hidden Valley ,kens etc. Too sweet and none of them taste like ranch from a restaurant like Outback for example…. does anyone happen to know? Id pay by the gallon! Ha!!

Have you gone to the restaurants that serve the type you like and ask to buy a container? I buy a mason jar full of the salsa a local restaurant makes. Worth a try anyway.

      • Donia

I know what you are talking about it. IT is onlinemercial and made from a mix I was told.
I think it is a dry powder onlinebined with wet ingredients like mayo.

Dennys will give you one if can ask the right person

Get the hidden valley ranch packets and mix it yourself. I like it a lot better than their bottled stuff

      • Alison

I second that one. Fresh ranch made using mayo and milk and Hidden Valley Dressing Mix is way better than bottled. You can buy a larger container of it online and save rather than buying individual packets at the grocery store.

    • Gisette

      I like outbackโ€™s ranch too!

    • Erin

I don’t generally like shelf stable ranch. Try some of the refrigerated ones in the produce section. They definitely taste better. Or google to see if you can find a copycat recipe for Outback’s ranch.

    • Mary

I actually wondered the same thing and so I finally asked one of the restaurants what they used. They make their own by using the packages of ranch mix and mayo (not buttermilk!). Make sure you mark the date that you made it because it only stays good for like 7-10 days. Happy ranch dipping!!

Hahaha this is funny and perfect for a couple of my brothers. But $50 for the menโ€™s shorts?? Yeah no thanks. Maybe if I find them on clearance. ๐Ÿ˜‚
