So it’s just me and my son. I want to get one but I usually get excited about kitchen gadgets and then don’t really use them a ton. I want to prevent that. Is this something you use more than once a month? What do you use it for?

    • Karen

Hello Christine, I do not have this brand, I got the $20 one from Macy’s recently. I use it for me and my daughter, I make pierogis, mozzarella sticks, frozen French fries, mac and cheese bits, pizza rolls pretty much anything you would normally deep fry… yum. I found it to be the perfect size for the two of us. Hope this helps some.

    • Lisa

I got this one for Black Friday. Our family is my husband, son and I and it’s great. We have been using it almost everyday, and have been leaving it out. We’ve made Torino’s pizza rolls, tater tots, chicken cordon bleu, and most things it’s only about 5 minutes.

  2. Tp

I’ve had one from kohl’s. Not sure on the large it was pricey. We use it did grilled cheese and tater tots

  3. Crystal

I worried about it not getting use when we got our air fryer but to be honest we find we actually use it constantly and have even took it camping because it is so fast and easy to use. Almost anything you make in your oven can go in it

  4. kimboj

Promo code is giving 15% not 30%, is that right?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes! That’s correct! Thanks for pointing that out!

  5. Tracy

    $7.50 isn’t 30%.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

You’re right! Thanks for the heads up! Just updated!

These devices aren’t just for artery-clogging, pro-inflammatory processed foods! You can use an air fryer for a low-fat, plant -based, whole-food lifestyle too. For example, I make veggie tostadas for lunch — whole wheat tortilla, mashed pinto or black beans, a little sprinkle of (dairy free) cheese, chopped red onions and red bell pepper, some salsa — bake 8 minutes @ 400, then top with a pile of fresh mixed greens and a squeeze of lime juice. I also bake seasoned tempeh and tofu, and fat-free diced potatoes or sweet potatoes (seriously, no oil, just tossed in seasoning and they crisp up). My next experiment will be roasting cruciferous veggies in it. I bought some parchment paper disks with air holes that fit my air fryer off of Amazon, so added oil is onlinepletely unnecessary. You CAN use an airfryer in a way that works with whole food/plant-based/no-added-oil lifestyle (conforming with Drs. Ornish/Essylstein/McDougall/Gregor etc.).

    • irene

Maggie, good point! When you say “fry,” the brain automatically thinks fast food junk. A food demo at Kroger made roasted brussel sprouts that were super yummy. I roast every kind of vegetable in my toaster oven and they always onlinee out so tasty. Just add garlic, olive oil, S&P. Curry powder or harissa if you want a kick. I’m sure the air fryer would be just as good.

      • Maggie

OMG….harissa on roasted brussels! Thanks for that delicious idea, Irene!

They are diving out $10/$10 gift cards Saturday, anyone know if we could use on this?

    • L

No. I tried it in-store and it didn’t work.

  8. Diana

Can we submit the rebate even if we used the coupon?

    • Angie (Sweet Sidekick)

Hi Diana! Yes you can submit for the rebate even if you use the coupon.

      • Diana

        Thank you! 🙂

  9. MDR

The link opens through my app and there is no place to enter a code 🙁

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hmm, maybe try switching to desktop view. Hope that helps!

  10. Michelle

Ebates happens to be giving 9% cash back on JCP too! That was a pleasant bonus. Can’t wait to try this!

  11. Corina

Thank you. I have been wanting to buy an air fryer within a reasonable price.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re very welonlinee!

  12. Joyce

Can you get more than one rebate if you purchase more than one appliance? Thinking this is a great Mother’s Day gift idea…for me and my mothers!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Joyce! Here is the limit I found listed in the details – “Limit one rebate per name, address, or organization”. Hope that helps!

  13. Mona

I took advantage of the Macy deal, via Hip2Save, and it surely was a great one making it only $8.99 after rebate.
It is the most enjoyable gadget I have had — being able to make French fries with just a few sprays of olive oil. I have cooked filets of fish and they turn out great. Also the clean up is easy as the little drawer cleans up easily. Thanks again to H2S for alerting me to this unbelievable deal.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

That’s so great to hear! You’re welonlinee, Mona!

  14. MsBeebe82

Great deal! Thanks so much for posting. 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welonlinee! 🙌

  15. Deanna

I ordered it online for store pick up, thru Ebates. Hoping it goes thru with 10% back.

  16. Jeff

Fine print in $20 online rebate said “not valid with any other rebate or coupon”.
So, I’m not sure if their own “coupon” ($-7.50) counts and the rebate will be rejected?
I’ll double check at the store when we pick it up and also check the item out, and just void the order of any issue with rebate related to their own coupon.

PS, I also tried the advertised “JCP header Black Friday” code for 20% off “Home” and it was rejected.
I also tried a consumer specific code mailed to me from JCP on a postcard, with a linked serial number, for 20% most things and it was rejected. Also says $10 off $10 coupons at the door 5/3/20, limited quantity and restrictions.

    • sara

      It should be fine

    • fran

I did a deal similar to this before with a coupon and I still got the rebate

  17. Ericakane

I just got the airfryer for Christmas and we use it all the time. I just made some Hot wings in it. This is something I will always have in my kitchen from now on. I’ve made all sorts of other things. Reheated enchiladas in it and they came out better than in the oven.

  18. kathleen belcher

never got my rebate from buying the airfryer, mail in my receipt.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh bummer! Maybe try contacting their rebate center –> 855.263.0173 Hope that helps!
