My husband got me purple tulips from Whole Foods about a month or two ago and they never opened and died after a week. Anyone have tips on how to care for them?

    • Karen229

I’m not sure about opening but if you put a penny in the water the stems stay nice and straight.

      • MA

        A penny?? Really?? That’s cool!

  2. Cathy

Trader joe has the best deal on tulips all the time for 30 stems. No prime needed and less money!

  3. Renee

You can’t beat Trader Joe’s prices for flowers

  4. KimNell

So just checking, Trader Joe’s sells 30 stems for less than $10?

  5. KimNell

Thanks that does help and it confirms this is a better deal for these few days
