Thank you for your onlinement! My classroom sharpener (this same model) finally gave out. I’m needing a new one and will gladly pay a few more dollars to not start a new account. Just sent this x-act (ha) sharpener back to Amazon. I got it in the mail and tried it out and it just hummed and wasn’t sharpening. With all these good reviews, I must have just got a dud. Bummer! I got a different brand.
