If so, you’ll want to read this first! 😬 Mondelēz Global LLC, the parent onlinepany of Nabisco Chips Ahoy! and other name-brand snacks and desserts, has voluntarily recalled select 13oz packages of Chips Ahoy! Chewy Cookies because of an “unexpected” solidified agent that has had some adverse health effects.
At this time, there is no further detail as to what the unexpected agent in the cookies might have been.
The packages of cookies were sold at retailers nationwide, and all have the UPC: 044000032234 and the following “best when used by dates” (located on the top left of the package by the lift tab):
- 07SEP2019
- 08SEP2019
- 14SEP2019
- 15SEP2019
If you happen to have any of these cookies in the pantry, it is reonlinemended that you don’t eat them. Instead, be sure to check out this press release (PDF) and contact the onlinepany at 1-844-366-1171 for more information.
I had these recalled cookies in my pantry and called the 1-800 number. They said they will send me 4 coupons valid for ANY free Nabisco product (up to $4.29 value)! – Hip2Save Sidekick, Mary.
