   Run away from Samsung washers and dryers. They are such a headache. I currently have one of each of these. I’m constantly having to re adjust my laundry in the washer to have it finish a load and my dryer’s drum likes to keep spinning even when the machine is off. I unscrew the panel and unplug all the circuits from the mother board for it to work again.

   I agree with Melanie. DON’T DO IT!!! I got the merlot pair of washer/dryer at Lowe’s 3 years ago. (https://www.lowes.online/search?searchTerm=samsung+merlot)

   In less than 2 years, I had to replace the washer (wouldn’t spin). In less than 3 years, I had to replace the dryer (wouldn’t heat). Nobody was certified to work on them as local repairmen. Also, ordering parts from them was TERRIBLE. Even the Lowe’s salesman said he would never buy one because of reasons above.

   same here unfortunately … it got to the point where i had to wait 1 month for a part to onlinee in, then it was the wrong part. luckily i had the extended protection plan, i was able to replace the machine for Free let samsung stick to TV’S

   NEVER BUY Samsung washer and dryers! We are on our second set after a recall on the first!!
   My husband works on ours every few months. I am not exaggerating..from replacing belts, pulleys, heating element, and now our washer won’t start unless you start it empty- pause it, throw the clothes in and then unpause it. It’s ridiculous.

  I have my Samsung washer and dryer for about 10 years and it’s still working great with no issues. I also have a fridge and stove from Samsung and they to are all work perfectly.

   I had issues with my Samsung in December. It took Lowe’s two weeks to find someone who would even look at mine. The guy who showed up said the parts are too hard to get and they hate to work on them. He told me to get a Maytag, because he rarely has to do work on them.

   We had a Samsung washer and dryer. Washer was recalled and they replaced it with same brand but different model. Our dryer started acting up and they came out to fix it 3 times in a month. Our home warranty decided to just replace it and said to never buy Samsung because of all the issues.

  Rebecca, me too! My old Samsung washer was one of the recalled ones as well, but worked awesome. It wasn’t until we decided to go with another Samsung washer (because Samsung offered more money for the recalled washer if we bought another Samsung washer) that we started having load issues. Did you happen to receive the class action settlement postcard for Samsung top loading washing machines? Debating whether or not to look into it. I felt kind of forced to invest in another Samsung washer through the recall process.

   Wow… those are bad issues. Anyone have experience with Samsung ranges and fridges? We’re looking at them as an option but wondering if they have issues as well like their washers and dryers.

   I have a Samsung washer and dryer going on 5 years now and they work great. We did however pay for each of them the price of one of these sets. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

    My mother in law and I both had to replace our Samsung washing machine within 3 years of buying them. We fixed ours 4 or 5 times until the last repair was not fixable by us and the estimated Samsung service call plus the estimated repair cost were $300-$400 more than the new washing machine we bought to replace it. They are horrible.

    Oh.my.goshness. Do not do it. Do not buy Samsung for anything. We had a Samsung washer, dryer set, top of the line. It was the absolute worst washer, dryer set with nothing but problems from the beginning. Again, let me repeat, do not do it.

    I would never buy a Samsung washer and dryer — even if it was the best deal on the planet. Our Samsung dryer drum cracked and would catch clothes in the crack. Clothes would rip when you removed them! 🙈… Worst purchase…

    Appreciate these onlinements. I have a 6 year old Maytag set that has never had technical problems but doesn’t clean well. It is an HE top loader with no agitator…wondering if I should get a front loader when we move. Who knew Samsung sets had so many issues.

    Speed Queen all the way! They may look plain with less bells and whistles but had zero issues in almost 2 years. We even bought the dryer used on Craigslist. Built to last in a sea of disposable appliance brands.
