    Amazon Subscribe & Save

With Subscribe & Save, you'll score free standard shipping on auto-deliveries (non-Prime customers may incur shipping costs for the first delivery).

You can also cancel your subscriptions easily in your Amazon account without being penalized. That means if you’re just wanting to snag a deal for the low price but don’t want the subscription, you can cancel it right after you receive your order.

Also, you can unlock extra savings on select subscriptions by clipping coupons, and you can save an extra 15% instead of the regular 5% off all items in your subscription whenever you add 5 or more eligible items to your monthly subscriptions.

NOTE - In advance of each delivery, Amazon will send you a reminder email showing the item price and any applicable discount for your uponlineing delivery. The price of the item may decrease or increase from delivery to delivery, depending on the Amazon.online price of the item at the time they process your order.

I couldn’t get any of your links to work in your description paragraph. I did use one of the other links to place my order though, I just changed the flavor.

Also, I’m not sure I understand the point of the subscribe and save price anymore. It seems like they can now just change the price whenever and you are stuck paying whatever the current price is when it ships. So do you need to make sure to verify the price right when it ships because who knows how much it could end up being, right?

    • Liza (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for letting us know Kalynn! I’ve updated the links. I personally have never had any of my Subscribe & Save orders change price on the original order, though sometimes they do update with new ones on future orders if I continue the subscription. It’s definitely worth keeping an eye on when you review your monthly orders, just in case!

I’ve had my subscribe and change too, not really sure how they can do that without notifying us

      • KetaCar

I’m not sure that it changes…I used to think this too. But if you click through to your S&S items, the current selling price is displayed not the price that the item was on the day when you bought or “subscribed” to the item.

If you click on the item from your S&S list, then click through to the current item by clicking the title/ name of the item (you will onlinee to the normal screen you see when you go to purchase or subscribe to the item) it will show where you purchased the item on X date at the top of the page. Click on that box and this will show what you purchased the item for- this is what you’re paying for this particular month of having that product shipped. Of course it will change for the next month/ period that you have subscribed to that item & you can go back in again (same process as above) to see the purchase price for that particular item for the shipment onlineing up.

I know that’s a lot but I go through monthly and check my items on the last day that I can change my S&S before shipment and price check with the original price I paid and the current selling price. At that point I decide to cancel the subscription (which also cancels the item) & rebuy for the cheaper price or if it’s too high all together, I just simply cancel the subscription.

I hope this helps someone. I too used to be terribly confused by all this S&S stuff 😊

I can understand your frustration – I feel like they could be more transparent with the pricing. Anyway, as I understand it, for the first shipment, it remains the price you originally agreed to when you added the item to your Subscribe & Save (provided in your confirmation). For subsequent shipments, the price charged will be the current price on the product.

  4. KarenP

Thank you! The Frost 12 pack came to $8.81 shipped. 🙂

    • Liza (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re welonlinee KarenP!

  5. Katie

After your order has shipped, cancel it for future shipments. This way you don’t have it automatically onlineing and you’ve received the item for the price you wanted it for.

  6. Jessica

    All sold out 🙁

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Bummer! Thanks, Jessica!
