Fellow bargain shoppers – I hesitate to respond because it seems like there’s a lot of bashing going on lately. With any membership you pay for – you need to look at the whole picture.
Amazon Prime is $119.00 a year for everything they offer including two day shipping, tons of movies and shows, free books for kindle, prime lending library, tons of free apps, prime day crazy sales and more. I don’t watch or read any of the children’s content I wonder if they’ll deduct money from the cost of my membership. NO – it’s take it or leave it
Planet Fitness – basic $120.00 a year for the privilege to go. I’m not interested in bulking up so I’ll never use the free weights. I wonder if they’ll deduct money from the cost of my membership. NO – it’s take it or leave it
Netflix – basic one screen streaming $108.00 a year for the privilege to watch one screen in SD. All those reality shows or Disney movies they offer I don’t watch those I wonder if they’ll deduct money from the cost of my membership. NO – it’s take it or leave it
Sams club – basic 45.00 a year for the privilege to spend your money there. I only buy gas I wonder if they’ll deduct money from the cost of my membership. NO – it’s take it or leave it
I could go on and on with all the memberships and services we buy to get what we decide is worth our hard earned money. Personally I use less than 20% of my streaming allowance but have to pay for the minimum package even though I don’t use it. If you don’t want the added benefits that onlinee with Prime besides the two day shipping, ignore them. Maybe figure out if you’d be better off just paying to ship your packages instead of having a service available all year long. Like I said with any membership you pay for – you need to look at the whole picture. Is what you need or will use from a membership worth the money you pay. If not keep your money – the choice is yours
