I’ve never heard of a 7up cake lol

    • Bunny

Me either but I’ve got an Aldi less than 5 minutes away. Sounds yummy…definitely going to get one! Thanks Hip2Save πŸ™‚

        You’re welonlinee, Bunny! Enjoy!

They also have a small chocolate cake for about the same price that is delicious. I have a friend that owns a catering onlinepany, and she uses them all the time!

    • natz

The small chocolate cake is wonderful!

      • Bunny

Is that the chocolate cake shown in the picture above (next to the 7-up Cake) or is it something different?

      • Jenny

I absolutely love the chocolate cake too! I think it’s triple chocolate?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh cool! Thanks for the heads up! I have loved every cake I have tried from ALDI! They are SO yummy!

    • Cambria

Yes!!! My family and I love that chocolate cake and it’s always a hit when we bring places. And you cannot beat the price!

    • jax

Yes, that cake is amazing!! And the chocolate one at our store is $2.89. The 7-up cake is basically just a lemon lime cake.

    • irene

My mom will mention how good the chocolate cake is every time we shop at Aldi’s. I pretend I don’t hear her so I won’t be tempted to eat the whole thing myself! LOL!

  5. atm

the chocolate cake is delicious and super moist πŸ™‚

7-Up cake is big in southeastern Louisiana. You can find them in every grocery store, right next to the Sock-It-To-Me cakes – LOL I’ve, also, seen Dr Pepper cakes. But, I’ve never tried that one.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Ooh! That sounds yummy too! Thanks for sharing with us, Paul!

  7. Meg25!

When I was a little girl, my grandmother used to make a 7-Up cake from scratch. Best cake EVER!! Wish I had the recipe.

  8. Von D.

You people are killing my waistline! I’m gonna have to head over to my local Aldi and try this new 7up cake… and the chocolate one!!! πŸ™‚

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

LOL! I was thinking the same thing!

  9. nin

I think I have heard of soda cakes in various dump cake recipes. Apparently you can put a can of soda in with a cake mix and that’s it! No other ingredients. You can do whatever soda with whatever cake mix to try different flavors

  10. Judy Trac @ lipsonlineb

Does it taste like 7 up?

  11. Melanie

Love this cake, so moist! Chocolate one is good too.

  12. Mrs BK

Just picked up one of these to take to my parents tomorrow for Dads bday. Hope it’s as tasty as it looks!
