I bought my 28 year old daughter a deluxe backpack in 1996 when she was 10 years old. That backpack carried her through two years of grade school, junior high, high school AND college. I got this for a good friend and he LOVES IT!!!! Can’t go wrong w/ L.L Bean book packs! Many are onlineplaining there is no water bottle holder, but why not add a carabiner and do it that way so no water will spill? I find them much more doable than a pack w/ a bottle holder because most of the bottle holders rip out. These are made VERY well! My son had his for many years in grade school. L.L. Bean has the BEST book packs one can get. You get what you pay for!
