On the fence? Check out these reader onlinements:

I bought these last time they were on sale and they have turned out awesome. They are very nicely packaged. They are smaller but that’s what’s expected for the cost. I have had to give some away and move them to different pots twice already because now they are huge. Well worth the $27. They also are nice to start growing now and give as teacher gifts or Mother’s Day gifts. I forgot to mention it’s impossible for me to keep any type of plant alive but these have defied all odds. 🙂

For those of you who are concerned, I purchased these over the summer for my sister’s baby shower and they were AWESOME.

I purchased these the last time they were posted. Only one arrived dead. All of the rest are alive and well from the summertime. Most of them are gigantic, only one or two on the small side.

I ordered these last time the deal was posted in the spring and almost all of mine are still thriving!

I ordered the succulents last time the were posted. They were packed well for shipping. Yes, they are small, but after re-potting into cute planters and with proper care they grew to a good size. I was very pleased with them. This is a good price and I would reonlinemend them. If there is any problem, Amazon customer service will take care of it.

Just wanted to update on my order. It arrived today, beautifully packed and in perfect health!! So nice to see some new plant life in winter! 🙂

Dollar Tree has cute succulent terrariums right now. These will go perfect

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

What a neat find! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Lynn

OK, I always always kill my succulents. What is the trick?

    • Ashley

I did a Plant Nite and was told that you should give each plant 1/4 cup of water every month (yes month!) in the winter. In the summer, 1/4 c. (Per plant) each week. I’m 1 for 2 on keeping them alive, but the one alive one is flourishing lol

    • Nicole

Also something important is when you reply–you need to use soil that drains well. Root-rot is probably the most onlinemon way succulents get killed. I don’t water succulents until the soil is onlinepletely dry.

I ordered this deal before when it was on the Treasure Truck. The succulents were in great condition and packaged with care. There was also a guarantee card included that stated if any of the plants died within (I think 60) days, they’d be replaced.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh awesome! Thanks for sharing your experience with us, Nicole! Glad to hear they arrived in such good condition!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! Here are the current shipping details – “Get free shipping on a $25 order OR snag free 2-day shipping on ANY size order with Amazon Prime. OR, choose free no-rush shipping and get a $5 credit for Prime Pantry OR a $1 credit for eBooks & more – may vary by user.”

      Hope that helps!

    • Gail

I didn’t see that option either, it just gives one or two day shipping. It says it’s eligible but the option doesn’t onlinee up. If you have any luck let me know.

      • Samantha

Gail, I chatted with Amazon support and then refunded the shipping for me

    Are they house plants?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! Here are some tips I found for these in the details –
“Temperature: Succulents are very tough plants but they are not indestructible. A good rule of thumb is to not allow your plants to be in temperatures below 40 degrees without protection. Succulents truly thrive between 50 degrees and 85 degrees. It is ok if the temperature gets above this mark, you will just need to take extra precaution to ensure your plants do not burn. You will want to keep your plants out of direct afternoon sun if the temperatures are rising above 85 degrees. If the temperature is dropping below 40 you will want to keep them indoors/greenhouse to ensure they do not freeze.”

      Hope that helps!

I think I’ll order these and have my son paint some oui yogurt or baby food jars, and make a sign tag that says thanks for helping me grow to give to his teachers, he’s special needs and we have lots of teachers, if we have any left that are still alive I might put a few in an Easter basket with the loccotine lotion deal for my mom and mother in law, or look for some cute ways to decorate with them

    • Angela V.

      I love that idea! 🙂

  10. MONICA PACHECO

At first I couldn’t add to my cart. I went back and yeah now it’s back to $39.99. $2 a plant — I’m considering but will probably just pass — it wasn’t meant to be :/
