   This has been great for my almost 7 year old- yes it’s heavy but helps him stay asleep through the night and not onlinee in every night at 2:30. It usually is on the floor when he wakes up but worth it for us. I did get a minky cover from amazon as well that was about $45.

  I bought the Target weighted blanket earlier in December (deal on H2S) which is the 48 x 72 size. Went on amazon and ordered the Hug bud minky cover for $29.99. I believe it’s out of stock right now but it’s but it’s been great

  I just searched for the measurements. There were cotton covers that were around $30 but knowing this kid the minky was worth it. It isn’t secured in the case but as long as a grown up lifts it up to tuck in it doesn’t shift around a ton. The seller was one of those foreign sellers but it’s great quality.
