   Nice write up for Sam’s Club scan and go. The only problem with it is that not everyone is a Sam’s Club member and not everyone can benefit from joining Sam’s Club so downloading the app won’t do them any good at all. Too bad Walmart can’t get on the same train.

  Peaches ~ I saw a Scan and Go sign at the the self checkout area of my local Walmart. I’m not sure if it is everywhere or if we are just part of a test market. About 3 years ago the same Walmart also had something similar, then it disappeared. Maybe it will make it this time!

  Agreed great write up! Not every post is for every person. I am sure this is targeted to those who have a Sams Club membership and are unaware of the app or for those who will benefit from it in the future.

   I have used this feature a few times already. It keeps my card on file and just scan as I add it into the cart. It helped me watch what I was spending and I was able to check out and not get in the very busy lines ( Saturday Afternoon my store is crazy). Straight to the exit line. They just scanned the barcode and that is it. Also have done the order on my phone and pick up that is a good one to do also. Love this feature!

   I have memberships to Sam’s and BJ’s. I shop Sam’s way more often because of this app! Love getting what I need and getting out.

   I love this feature. Use it often unless my son is with me. He likes the self check out so he can scan everything himself. Side note: if purchasing gift cards you need to use a register to check out. Last time I scanned everything but went through the line for my gift cards.

  This is the one feature I wish the app had. I purchase gift cards through the school because I get some cash back, but I can’t pay with GC through this app.

   I do love the Scan & Go feature at Sam’s Club. It makes shopping in wholesale store so much easier and convenient. And my daughter loves scanning everything in our cant. Keep in mind if you want to buy alcohol, you can’t use Scan and Go either for alcohol purchases. You’ll need to check out with a cashier.

    I’ve been using this app since the beginning of the year and I LOVE IT! It’s really great to have on Black Friday and this time of year, with the exception of the pharmacy, I haven’t used a register since!

    I used to use all these express check outs (self service) from different stores. I stopped doing it because I read an article that it can hurt people’s jobs. I know it is convenient to most of us but I just don’t want to be a reason a person loses their job. But that’s just me 😀

  There will always be jobs that go and new ones will onlinee. People will be needed to maintain automated systems that eliminated cashier jobs. The door may need extra people. I never get my milk delivered by a milk man, shoes made by a cobbler, ice delivered for my ice box. I send text messages rather than telegrams. I don’t feel guilty about that, so why should i feel guilty for using scan and go?

    I have this app and love it! It puts a smile on my face when I walk past the long lines right up to exit to get my QR Code scanned.
    Using the receipt from the app when returning an item was easier than keeping up with a paper receipt.

    Also, I haven’t posted about this, but I was told my local Sam’s had Member’s Mark Sensitivity Infant Formula
    48 oz. marked down to $10.91. This formula still had the retail price posted when I went in store.Rather than trying to find an associate to scan formula, I scanned it on the app. It was $10.91!! So fast and convenient!!

    I’ve used the app since it became available probably a year ago.
    Before it used to be a pain to go and wait in the long lines. Now I can get in and get out. So convenient.

    have been using it since it first began . The best thing that ever happened. Plus sams opens way before Costco so I can shop in peace and quiet. Love sams!

    Loooooove this!! I downloaded the app when you first posted it. It is such a joy to shop now. No lines and super easy to use. I often take my elderly father who has very limited mobility to do his shopping . This has been wonderful for him knowing that he doesn’t have to wait in long lines! Thank you for posting:)

    Is the picture of an actual receipt or something done up for the write up? Our Sams Club does not offer a paper receipt with scan and go. I found out the hard way when I needed one for a rebate offer.

    I’ve had the price change to higher at checkout with the app. It was a clearance item. Only problem I’ve ever had. Scanned lower price and jumped to another when I went to pay.

    I have used this app since the first of the year. Really came in handy with the Premier Protein Class Action suit. I was able to prove I had bought 12 cases of shakes. Hopefully I will get a big check soon!

    We love this app.
    Great time saver.
    I go with my mom who is on oxygen and can’t spend a long time shopping.
    I load the items and she scans them.
    Only had one problem.
    Added a bread item too many times.
    Had to go to customer service to get a refund.
    That took the longest time of the whole shopping trip.
    Great that you can send yourself a receipt to your email

    Can you scan to price check something and then easily delete it? Sometimes the price signs are hard to find or missing at my store.

  One of my features is checking prices and also it helps you stay on budget (if that is possible at Sam’s lol) it keeps a running total for you! 😊

    Just saw this post. Must have been asleep that day. Anyhow. This app is incredible. I see many people in line that “ARE” members and they don’t use the app. I’m always baffled at this. There have been a few times when the app didn’t work in the beginning, or the scanner at the door was wonky in the beginning. Now-a-days…perfect. I grab boxes when I enter, and scan and pack as I shop. What a time saver. Our club has taken out about half of the Cashier lanes and replaced with self checkout….dear Lord what a nightmare. Give me this App any day

    I LOVE this app!! You can put multiple credit cards as payment options. Works great when I have to get supplies for work. I have the onlinepany card stored in there. Just have to remember to switch back to my personal card lol. (I had to reimburse my onlinepany for 3-$.89 drinks).
    It really saves time if you shop on Saturday. That’s when lines seem to be longest.
