    Sold out online!!

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Wow! That was soo fast! Thanks for the heads up!

  2. Ness

I am 18 weeks pregnant and didn’t want to face the crowds, so my husband went to the store at 7am for me with coupons in hand!! He did a great job!

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

      What a sweet hubby!

  3. Jennifer G

I was able to use the expired coupon from yesterday. So I paid $7.16 a candle.

  4. Leslie

Already sold out online at 10am. What a bummer! That’s a first for me. They really should have more stock available.

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Darn! I’m seeing that too. 🙁

    • Angela V.

So, I had 5 candles in my online cart last night. If I try entering the candleday code I get a message saying it cannot currently be added to my cart. If I don’t try using the code, the system appears to let me purchase them full price (I’ve done everything but confirm the order). My guess, is they allotted a certain number to sell online on sale, and then they shut the code down.

  5. Barbara

If somebody has an extra coupon would you email it to me? Thanks [email protected]

  6. Shannyn

My store wouldn’t let me stack the free item coupon with the $15/$40:(

    • M

What?! It specifically says that they’re stackable w one another on the back of the coupons!!! Are you talking about the ones on the mailer??

      • Shannyn

Yes, the ones in the mailer. I had to do separate transactions to get my free item. They weren’t budging:(

        • Danielle

That had to have been a store manager issue. I went to my store, and I had 3 sets of the 15 off 40 with Free item coupon, and I did 3 transactions without any issue.

          • M

I agree with Danielle. I used mine and stacked it with the $15/40 with no issues 3x as well. It specifically says it is allowable on the back of the coupon. I did have this happen to me once…manager refused to stack them despite it being indicated right on the coupon. I called customer service and was given $20 gift card and allowed to use the coupon the same day..in the same store..w the same person who refused it. 😏

          • Neilly

That’s nice! They wouldn’t allow me to use 2 sets of coupons. Even though one of the workers said I could. The cashier said nope. I took it as a sign I was only supposed to have 5 candles.

    • nena

Same here, she said it had to be a “regular price” purchase to use free cp….🙄

      • Lois

The system will not allow free item coupons to be used on anything that is over the $13.50 regular price. Says it right on the coupon. If a store is allowing it to be used on other items, or allowing you to pay the difference, they are overriding the system and can lose their jobs for that.

      • Lois

As for stacking coupons, as long as they onlinee in the same mailer, they can absolutely be used together as long as criteria is met for each of the coupons. We had no problem letting customers use their coupons, and even helped them out getting the best deal.

    • Lisa

Oh wow. I was able to use the coupons that came together & my free item for the rewards all at the same time.

  7. Kage

I was at my store this morning. Was able to stack the $15 off and use the 20% off from the other day (3-day grace period!) to get each candle for under $6. However, I was in line for more than an hour. Everyone was pleasant and cheerful for 7:30 a.m. though!

  8. Amber

Yay got my candles . A total of 9 using my $15 off $40 🙂 . I saw so many buying like 15+ who’s total was smaller than mine, any one have a clue how ?

  9. Monica

Retailmenot has $10 off $30: TNTYCH2 is working today.

  10. missannak

The bath and body works in my city was pretty crowded but they were so organized they had extra checkout areas where they check you out with the handhelds and extra boxes it made the whole process a breeze! 5 candles + aroma therapy lotion and mini hand sani 30 and some change

  11. Brawny321

Do stores all seem to be sold out by now, as well? I can’t remember a time this sale had lines wrapped around the building like Black Friday!! It was always crowded, but I always managed to get a few candles even if I showed up early afternoon. Wondering if they are manipulating stock-which is shady

    • LAURA

I think you’re right. I remember going in after work on candle day at like 6:30pm and they were rolling out carts of 3 wicks and restocking as if they had been doing it all day most scents still available. They seem to be making this seem very limited to increase panic and demand. You’re right very shady. Never saw all candles sell out online either maybe certain scents but not everything at 9 am.

  12. RME

If anyone has a $15 off $40 coupon and /or the free item coupon I would ridiculously appreciate it!! [email protected]

  13. Jennifer

Just went there at 7am. It was busy but I still did not have to wait outside store. I bought my five candles. I also made sure I got different design lids. I used my $15 off $40 mailer coupon. And I had a mall gift card from a previous promo. I bought campfire donut, Blueberry sugar, ’tis the season, white mint latte, and peppermint brownie. I almost got red velvet cupcake. But it didn’t smell too good. I’m having a wonderful week for buying candles. I also bought a bunch of Yankee candles at 90 percent off at Big Lots. 😉

  14. Andrea Semrau

My store opened at 7 am and it was already busy! I scored 5 candles for $5.95 each because I used a $15 off of $40 coupon. On transaction #2, I scored 4 more at $6.45 each because I used a $10 off of $30 coupon.

    Happy Candle Day!!

  15. Tefer2

So HAPPY! My store was crazy busy with a line for checkout out the door. But it was all worth it when I was allowed to use my $10 off $30 coupon…THREE TIMES! So, I only paid $6.45 for each candle. WINNING!!!

    • Teeracey

Me tooo!!!! Worth the wait. Brought my hubs to stand in line while i shopped. He’s the best.

  16. Ziggystardust

My store has plenty left, however we did not get any coupons for whatever reason (figures lol)

I pickup up three candles and two pocket hand gels, use the $10 off $30 and got a candle holder for my free gift item with $10 purchase. SO all that for $20.35 (before tax) ! And a 30 minute wait in line. I’m happy. Thank you!

    • Shop624

That’s a really good deal ! Why didn’t I think about getting the candle holder 🤔. I purchased 8 candles and used the free item for a body wash cost be about $41.

  19. Stina

Did anyone have trouble using coupon? My daughter went and they wouldn’t let her use then

  20. Luna

Sold out online??!!! Has this happened before

    • Jennifer (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Yes, they do sell out fast online.

  21. Amy

Just was at the mall in PGH, still lots of candles left…they kept bringing more out! It was very crowded but I didn’t wait more than 10min!

    • Jennifer (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Yay! So glad you had a good experience at your PGH mall!

  22. Mrs BK

Next year I will buy online early just to get a bigger choice of scents. My store only had xmas scents left, still bought a few but definitely worth the shipping cost next time!

    • Cheri

You can always exchange for a different scent. One of the scents I wanted was out of stock in the store, but they said another shipment would be onlineing in next week, so to check back then. They’re really good about making exchanges.

  23. Miri

Could someone send me a coupon by email? Mirikriet @yahoo.online TIA

  24. Michelle

Went to get 6and got 15instead use three gift cards I had last year .but the store I went too .there was a line but I still brought what I wanted

  25. Kim

I went to my store around 4:30pm. About 5 people in line outside the store. Plenty of candles left. I had a $10 off $30 coupon. The cashier asked if I had any other coupons, I did not. She then scanned an additional 20% off!!! I paid $5.40 for each candle. I should of got more than 5! Lol!

  26. dashofnutmegs

From one of your past posts, I used one of your suggested ideas. I got 4 candles and the Vanilla Bean Noel confetti scrub (normally 16.50). So I used the $15 off $40 and the $8 VBN coupon. So I got my candles for $5.89 and the body scrub for $5.26. Definitely got the best savings I could get. Thanks for all your posts with suggested buying ideas! It has really helped!

  27. lindak

Put 5 in my cart last night and ordered them for my son with no problem at 5:30 am today. Went to the store about 3pm today and there were quite a few people considering the mall is down to 2 anchor stores and a few other no name stores. Got 5 and used my $15/$40 coupon. The wonderful clerk helped me locate the very last Tis the Season in the store. A good day all around. Between this and the hand soaps for about $1.65 a couple of weeks ago, I’m set for small gifts. Thanks!

  28. Edy
