  We use it as our modem. We still pay for internet service. It got rid of all the dead spots in our house and let my husband extend internet to his building in the backyard so he can stream music, etc. It also allowed us to “hardwire” certain things that were not connecting well to WiFi. Now we can plug directly into those hubs (PS4, Roku) and get much better service.

   This is a mesh system for your wifi. This works great in a larger home to prevent dead spots. Works great in an old farm house. It also allows you the ability to control what devices are online and you can set “bedtimes” or Off-line” times for kids devices. We LOVE this.
