We have all 3 of these books and they are absolutely gorgeous. My youngest daughter had no interest in the big novels without any pictures, but we’ve been reading these at bedtime and she loves it.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Oh cool! Glad to hear she has been enjoying these! My son LOVES Harry Potter! I bet he’d love this set too!

  2. Shannon

We love these books! I have the first 2 and can’t wait to get the third. The illustrations are beautiful! I highly reonlinemend them 🙂

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Thanks for the review, Shannon! Good to know how nice they are!

  3. Andrea

Does anyone know if these are unabridged?

    • melanie

We own these. I believe they are unabridged. The illustrations are fantastic!

  4. Ashley

I wish they would release the rest of them! I love these books!

    • Nandy

      Oh I so wish too

  5. Luna

Is this the best deal or can I wait until after Christmas sale? Any idea? Tia

    • Nandy

I guess it’s the best deal so far

How much are these at Costco? I’m pretty sure I saw them there but I can’t remember the cost.

    • Aunt Jenny

I too would like to know the cost at Costco. I saw them at Costco too, my adult son wanted the books but they were expensive but I don’t remember exactly how expensive. it’s not sold at Costco online. Thanks in advance.

    • Tonya

I’ve been watching these. They are $23.99 at Costco (which is the best deal I’ve seen until this one). Costco also has the three-book set, but it doesn’t discount the price per book.

    • Nandy

It was for $25 each an year ago

    • Erica

I saw the 3 book set for $62 at my Costco in Ohio.

  7. Michelle

Sold out on Amazon. I snagged one from Walmart. Thanks for the post! We wanted to buy my son the entire set as he is almost finished with the first one but seeing as how he is only 8, I think he would enjoy these illustrated versions more.

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

You’re welonlinee, Michelle! This is still available for me now from, Amazon. Glad you could grab it from Walmart!

  8. Jennifer

Does anyone know why they didn’t release the 4th book this year or eta for release? I’ve given the last three books every year for a holiday gift and was disappointed there wasn’t one this year.

    • LynnNV

In a blog post, illustrator Jim Kay said that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Illustrated Edition’s release date will be some time in 2019. They said it’s not hard to guess why the Goblet of Fire is going to take two years: the book is LONG and Jim said the wait is going to be worth it. I can’t wait! 😊
