   Is this small for an average family? If I usually make 1 average cookie sheet of french fries in oven, would this be good?

  I have one of these personally and the basket is a good size! Definitely can do an average cookie sheet of fries at once.

   How about time cooking ? Is it shorter than baking fries in the oven ?

  Time is shorter I usually go with slightly less temp and less time than what packages state for conventional oven. I see air fryers as being a small form conventional oven with a fan. Which leads to less cooking time and crispier results. Fries onlinee out so much crispier than conventional oven. We’ve even done a steak in it and it came out so delicious and juicy! We got it for this price Black Friday last year – best $39 Spent! I don’t live in an area where costco is so not sure on brand
