You have l posted to buy Colgate Enamel Health but it’s not listed as one of the participating toothpastes in the RB offer??

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Darn! I’m seeing that too. Thank you for the heads up!

CVS is making it harder and harder to patronize. I spent valuable time to go there today. Two of my coupons beeped and came up, item not found. Even though I clearly bought the items and proved it to the person, she said as of last Monday, she cannot override. She totally agreed, I bought the items the coupons were for, but no way for her to accept them, even though their system was not correct. It kills the deals. I am not going to keep wasting my time if this keeps up.

I totally agree. I had issues with my rewards of $5 and manager couldn’t even over rite. One place tells me they take them within 30 days and another days only a few days. Associates say couple of days and manager says no days over. Sometimes these deals aren’t even worth trying because coupons always beeps. I think I’m done w cvs. I took a break a while back and this reminded me again why. I keep loosing money with them instead of saving it.

Lots of times its the MANUF who has not coded their coupons correctly. So the coupon beeps. Due to the amount of fraud that goes on with coupons, lots of stores, including CVS, no longer just push a coupon through, even though you’re purchasing exactly what’s stated on the coupon. As a long time customer, and have a good relationship with the managers & cashiers at my store, I too have been denied a coupon b/c it beeps or onlinees up red. It sucks, but that’s their policy and has been at my store for over 2 years now. If it’s $0.50 and under I just don’t worry and pay. But if it’s more than that, I will hand over another extrabuck to cover, or I void the transaction.

Claudia, at one time it was store discretion to take expired Extrabucks. some stores allowed up to a wk, some a month. But as of this past Jan, it became official that EBs and coupons that print from the kiosk, will only go through up to 2 days past expiration. Except for I believe it’s New York that they will not take ANY expired EBs & crts. Also there are a few random stores, that just won’t take expired eb’s at all. But the rest of the stores, the registers will take them with no problem. 3 days past and they onlinee up red/expired and there’s no way for a manager or cashier to push it through.

I am learning that I have to shop wise at CVS. The beeps are a frustrating. Be prepare to void the transaction and leave them with their merchandise. I have noticed that a coupon will beep at CVS but does not at Walgreens. It ruins my shopping experience. I used to use 2 coupons- on one item, a coupon for make up and another one for a specific brand but not anymore. Yes, they will not override. Occasionally, the manager will override because she knows me or will even adjust the price if the coupon does not go through. I now get better deals at Walgreens. Their point system don’t expire for a year and their customer service is really customer friendly. I can do a chat and within a minutes I see my points added to my account. I shop at both stores but lately have been in favor of Walgreens.
