Readers love these dryer balls too! Check out these onlinements:

Bought a pack for each of my family members for Christmas. We all use and love dryer balls. (And I seriously dislike fabric softener of any sort. It actually makes me cough and wheeze when other people use it and onlinee close to me. They have no idea.)

For anyone on the fence about these- they are amazing! If you’re still using dryer sheets- read up on dryer sheets and get rid of them 🙂 I put a couple drops of essential oils on these and our clothes smell amazing!!!!!

I have been using these (yes this specific brand) for over 2 years and they work great. When I have a load of laundry with polyester fabrics I only need to add half a dryer sheet to reduce static.

I bought these same dryer balls a couple years ago, and they have really held up. This is a great price!

Why would I need 12 of these? How often should they be discarded?

    • Lauren

I have a set of 6 dryer balls that are going on 5 years and still working fine. They’re getting slightly pilled on the outside, but nothing that’s affecting their function. The only way I could see someone needing 12 of these is if you don’t want to dig through your laundry when you empty the dryer to put the balls back into the dryer for the next load (if you’re doing consecutive loads). I just shake things out and find the balls and return them immediately to the dryer, and it works fine. My baby also likes to play with these, though, so maybe that’s another reason you’d want some extra! haha

      • Laura Y

        Thanks! I just ordered some!

    • Krys

I’m planning to use them as Christmas gifts. I love to do themed baskets and figure this will make a nice gift for my sister in laws with some other household products.

I’ve had my dryer balls for close to 2 years and they still look like new and work great. So much saved on dryer sheets as well.

I bought these with the last special in August and LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!! I also bought lavender essential oil and put a few drops on them ahead of time and the towels and clothes smell amazing!! I have also noticed a BIG difference in the shortened drying time… My husband loves these because of all the above! No more dryer sheets!!

    • Darla

Thanks for posting that because I have them and I love them and I wanted to use some essential oils on them as well but I wasn’t sure if I should. Thanks so much for the information! It’s also amazing how fast it dries clothes and also doesn’t make noise like tennis balls do!
