I was at a restaurant that served the butter for the rolls in these. I thought it was such a cool idea I have since gotten them for everyone in my family to do the same! It’s such a cute, homey touch!

    • Holly (Hip2Save Sidekick)

That is such a cute idea! Thanks for sharing!

I own one of these & am surprised at how much we use it. Perfect size for one sunny side up egg. 🙂

I think it’s kind of a crime that I don’t have a cast iron skillet of any size! So I just ordered one to pick up at Walmart tomorrow! Thanks!

I was JUST telling my husband that it would be super awesome to get mini cast iron skillets, but I didn’t want to shell out $12 a piece (outdoor store price). I can’t believe they just dropped in price! I grabbed 6 of them! Thanks Hip2Save, you made my day!

    • Amber (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Aww, Super glad you could snag a few at this price! You’re SO very welonlinee!

  6. Nina

I have all these lodge cast iron pieces but am so scared to use them. I never know what will work n what won’t. Have to educate myself quickly.

    • Bunny

      Hi Nina,

These mini skillets are great for making individual brownies or cookies. Here’s a great foolproof recipe from the Barefoot Contessa.

BTW, you can take any brownies or cookie recipe and make in your mini skillets. Just remember to reduce the baking time. Personally, I like to place them in the oven when we sit down to dinner. That way we have a warm dessert when dinner is done (perfect with ice cream on top!!)

    Wal-Mart price is $7.87 already. 🙁

Darn! Thanks for the heads up!
