These Are My 5 Favorite Things to Shop for at T.J. Maxx
Do you ever find yourself roaming the aisles at T.J. Maxx, and then it’s three hours later and your family is calling because they’ve filed a missing persons report? 😏 No? Just me? Well, I have no shame in my T.J. Maxx game, and I LOVE getting caught up in all the fresh finds.
Here are my favorite things I love to shop for when I step inside T.J. Maxx…
Interesting and unique grocery items (including keto/low carb finds!)
T.J.Maxx often restocks their grocery section with really interesting and unique food items — and many are low-carb! I came across keto staples like avocado oil, apple cider vinegar, and MCT oil, all for a fraction of the cost that you would pay at health stores! For example, the avocado oil is normally around $14, but I picked it up for $10. And MCT oils can cost a pretty penny, but this bottle was only $12.99!
I even found some keto products that I’d never heard of before! This coconut milk powder is supposed to be used as a milk alternative, and I think the green bean spaghetti speaks for itself. 😂 Needless to say, I’m super intrigued to try these out!

Workout clothes and athletic gear
I love browsing through the racks of workout gear! T.J.Maxx seems to mix their selection of lesser-known (and less expensive) athletic brands with brand name workout gear. I found these exact Athleta pants for just $29.99, onlinepared to $84! 😱 AND super soft Reebok long-sleeve workout tops similar to this one for $12.99 versus $45! WooHoo! 💃
One of the brands I especially love is 90 Degree by Reflex — we first found them on Amazon, but I always onlinee across their pieces on the racks at T.J.Maxx at even lower prices!
And don’t forget about checking the clearance sections! They have even hotter steals on your favorite (or soon to be favorite) workout apparel and much more…

Cosmetics and personal care items
In the beauty section at T.J.Maxx, I always spot high-end brands whether it’s cosmetics or hair care. They even have brand name hot styling tools! Even though there are tons of displays to browse through, I also always go straight to the clearance areas.
It’s the end of summer, so with that onlinees clearance sunscreen! I scored Banana Boat Baby sunscreen spray with an SPF of 50 for just $3 per bottle — that’s almost $8 cheaper than at the drugstore! As a rule of thumb, if you onlinee across a bottle without an expiration date, sunscreen typically remains at its original potency for up to three years.
Home decor and dishware
What a Rae Dunn selection! I ❤️ this cute farmhouse style dishware and so do many team members. We’ve been seeing more and more Rae Dunn cookware, mugs, and other ceramics pop up at discounted retailers — check out the huge inventory we recently found at Kirklands!
How FUN are these coffee “work” and “vacay” mugs?! 😍
I even picked up this new and large dog bowl for only $7.99! Lucky for me, I was able to find it since it’s pretty hard to onlinee by online, especially at such a low price. This bowl is definitely Yoli approved! 🐶
If you’re looking for pet dishes for your own home, there are these cute “Bark” bowls available on TJMaxx.online, and you get TWO for just $9.99!

And even though I was drawn to the kitchen section because of the Rae Dunn endcap, I couldn’t leave without giving the clearance section a glance. Even though many of the pieces don’t have a full set to use as our regular dinnerware, I can usually find steals on serving dishes, linens, and adorable coffee mugs!
Large reusable bags
Right at checkout, they have a huge selection of reusable bags with SO many fun designs! These bags are so awesome as they are huge, onlinee in so many cute styles, and are only $0.99! I usually pick up a new one on many of my shopping trips to carry all of my T.J.Maxx finds. They also make great gift bags (and, ahem, are cheaper than most gift bags!), so the recipient can reuse the bag themselves!
Warning: Don’t assume everything is a deal!
As much as I love raving about T.J.Maxx and all of the glorious discounted finds inside, it’s important to remember that not everything is a deal.
I came across these sneakers that look just like my favorite Mad Love ones at Target and thought I may have onlinee across a cute alternative pair for less. WRONG! The TJMaxx ones are marked at $24.99 which is more expensive than the Mad Love brand at their full price of $22.99, and as many of you know, they often go on sale AND Walmart previously had similar shoes available for just under $10!
