   I really liked this deal on the storage cube and was just about to order it when I noticed a little paragraph at the end of description. It warns of cancer concerns from this product. Needless to say, I cancelled my order.

  Wow…I didn’t even notice that till you pointed it out. With so many choices to buy furniture without this warning, I don’t see why Kohl’s would sell this. I try to do as much as I can to stay away from toxic stuff and make healthy decisions so this will be going back. Thanks for pointing it out!

  But what does that really even mean? I’d research the “ingredient” if you were actually concerned – maybe you’d find the warning is unwarranted? (but if so, then you have informed yourself & know for sure) 🙂 After all, this IS California we’re talking about! LOLOL! Where they label Everything carcinogenic… Well, everything except vaccines, which have actual carcinogens in the ingredient list. And they Mandate those. (face palm) But hey, who’s researching, right? 😉

  That is a CA thing. They have it on all products. Including shoes, furniture, its even listed in restaurants.

  As of August 30, 2018, you’ll see this warning on almost any and every product purchased online as it protects the online retailer from hefty fines/fees. Look up California ProP 65. It is a giant load of you know what.

  I saw this too and changed my mind. If studies have been shown that a type of chemical used to make that product are carcinogenic then why take that risk when there are options?

  I’ve never seen that warning in restaurants. I’ve seen it on plastic bath mats. It’s not listed on everything.

  Costco sells a car mount kit that has the same warming. It doesn’t say what the carcinogenic is though. Nor does it say what portion of the product contains such ingredients.

    I just finally had my husband put this deal together and am very disappointed in this product. The screw holes on top don’t onlinee with caps, they usually screw from the sides , but these are much larger than ones I’ve purchased from Target and they are on the top and very noticeable. Also the distressed look I love, but this grey one is distressed along with looks like it’s been scratched in several places. And it’s NOT a defect
    Very disappointing, glad it was less than $16
