At my local jcpenney in florida, there was clearence between 50-80% . And , there was additional 50% off and I was able to use $10 off 25 coupon on top of it. After all the math, its 70% off on clearence if done right.

I was at a store in the Dallas area today and all clearance was an extra 50% off, however I bought a bunch of clearance clothes and accessories, nothing a brand on their coupon exclusion list, and none of the paper coupons I had worked when she tried to scan them. I had 10 off 25 and 15% too, but nothing worked. I thought it was strange since in the past they would always let you use any coupon on clearance. the cashier made it sound like a new policy, but it sounds like from other onlinements here that some stores must allow it. I was wondering if anyone else had an experience like mine?
