We went on vacation there in 2017. My daughter is still asking us to take her back (too bad it’s like a 15 hour car ride). I’m not a typical theme park rider but we always do a theme park a year to satisfy the family as a whole. Disney is my #1 because it’s so magical. Sesame Place is my #2 and depending on the situation could also move to #1. We went during 4th of July when it should have been at it’s most awful and it was an easy shuttle from hotel to park, less than five minutes to get in the park, 5-10 minute waits for rides, easy to get show seating, etc. The only downside was that it took a while to stand in line to get food and it got crowded after dark because of fireworks. If we lived closer, we would go there all the time. It was probably the only theme park that I’ve ever been where I felt relaxed instead of “Go, Go, Go”. We don’t have anyone in our party with special needs, but it should be noted that Sesame Place is very Autism friendly with special calming sensory areas if needed.
