My daughter is 4 and I see her being able to use this for years to onlinee. It’s the free subscription and warranty that makes it so worth it. She has access to tons of kid appropriate AND learning apps that she loves doing just for fun!
My kids use the kindles with Freetime Unlimited on our car trips all the time. You just have to download whatever apps or books you want before leaving. After downloading, most of the apps don’t require WiFi to play them. I think you can download videos as well, but we haven’t tried that.
