   IKEA family sent me $15 off any purchase coupon for my birthday month this month. Could be a deal if you were going anyhow. My husband said it was not a deal because I’d walk out of there with over $100 in stuff I don’t need just to save $15.

   Finally went to ikea and forgot to give my family card. Didn’t bother going to customer service for them to put on bc we were exhausted. Should I have done so? Is there any benefit to the family card? Don’t see anything on points or extras—I just signed up when I downloaded the app:)

  The only advantage to the card is anything that is on sale (basically has a “family member price”) that you would need to scan your card to get the price I think. There never seems to be many items like that when I’m there though. No points or rewards for having the card but I wish there was!

  You get a free coffee/tea which is awesome! And a bogo free froyo, which makes for a cheap afternoon mommy son day out for me and my kiddo and you get 30 extra minutes at smaland if your kiddo wants to play there while you shop.
