   I got one of these last year for my son who was going into 2nd Grade. It has held up very well and he will be using it again this year. Prior to purchasing from L.L. Bean, we always had to replace his backpack each year if not sooner. I also love the lifetime guarantee that L.L. Bean offers. You really can’t go wrong with this one!

   I think this code actually only works on item code #505191 & #505445. I tried to use it on the wheeled deluxe backpack, but it wouldn’t let me. When I clicked on offer details, it mentioned it was only good for the two Item #s listed above. 🙁 Thanks for the deal though!

   Thank you for the heads up. That’s really unfortunate. There are other brands out there that offer the lifetime guarantee (unless they are all phasing this out), and I tell everyone about the LL Bean backpacks mainly for this reason. Kids can be extremely rough on bags. Either way it’s still a great product, but pretty expensive if you are only guaranteed for a year. I would definitely suggest grabbing one at this price and not paying more.

   These are the best bags ever! My children have these and they have been using them for years. They hold up awesomely! I just throw them in the wash machine and hang to dry. They look brand new after 4 years. I took advantage of this sale to order them new ones that were larger for ages 10 and up. My guess is that I won’t have to replace these for another 4 years. Definitely worth the investment!
