  With the ice cream, the digital coupon makes it 99 cents. You just load it to your account and when you checkout it will automatically adjust it to 99cents (I think up to 5 times).

  I agree with Julie. As long as you don’t open it, it should be just fine for your party in late August. Store in the coldest part of your freezer away from anything smelly (like onions, garlic, etc.)

  There’s absolutely nothing wrong with asking such a question. As long as it is never opened, it will be just fine.
  I was cleaning out my chest freezer last month and found an unopened pint of ice cream from last summer…it was perfectly fine as if I had just bought it from the store.

  Great sale price for stocking up for a party! With this hot weather hopefully you get it straight home and don’t have any issues with possible outages (as I sometimes do so I wouldn’t risk it myself). I’d try to get it early Friday as these deals are so popular they sell out quickly. I was lucky to grab the last 5 packages of 99 cent cheese last time they had it on sale, and that was after going to a second Kroger store to find it since the first had sold out.

  I would say buy ice cream closer to the date of your party.
  Depending on the flavor some keep longer than others.
  And.. what other items you keep in your freezer.
  The longest I ever keep ice cream is about two weeks(if it makes it that long with 8 kids). I can’t stand old tasting ice cream. 🤮

  Louisiana either. There are either large signs that say we will no get the sale price. Or they pull all the product from the shelf. Same dairy law I assume. 🙁

   With Ice Cream, I have found that not opening it, and sealing it in a gallon size freezer bag and freezing upside down doesn’t result in any freezer burn or crystals at all. And since it’s so hot for a lot of us now, make sure to bring a cooler and ice packs and get the ice cream back in your home freezer as soon as you can to avoid melting or softening and refreezing. There may also be a .25 any ice cream ibotta as well to check out.

  Thank you LeAnne for suggesting turning the ice cream container upside down. Will try that because I plan on buying five!

  I actually do this when I purchase berries and mesclun salad mix (putting a piece of paper towel on top before turning upside down). Keeps things fresher longer!

  I’m in California too…and on the app it only shows shrimp, Bud and M&Ms. However, you can get the ice cream to load to your coupons. If you go onto the onlineputer Kroger.online and sign in, then you can load to card for the ice cream.

   We LOVE the light ice cream and the no sugar added!!! Helps to have a little sweet treat without blowing the diet. And the lo-cal vanilla with diet root beer as a float YUM!!!!

    I went early this morning to make sure I got the flavors I wanted. I got 5 different ones 😊 They had a great selection of flavors! Thanks H2S! Now with the great deal on frozen pizzas and ice cream I need a bigger freezer 😂😂

  I went early as well to make sure I find the lactose free variety. I was barely able to find exactly 5 of my liking. My store always has a very low stock of the lactose free flavors.
  This morning, they had only 1 butter pecan, 1 vividly vanilla, 1 Rocky road, 3 chocolate and a bunch of the peanut butter (which I’m sure a bunch of us lactose-intolerant people don’t care for lol).

    I tried to redeem the Ibotta for the ice cream, but it looks like it’s already gone. I thought I had even added it to my offers. Do they expire that quickly? I just hadn’t gotten around to submitting my receipt.
