   Off topic but related question, can somebody help?
   My kid is going to kindergarten this fall and school asks for pre-sharpened pencils. I am wondering if I can buy the pencils in this post and sharp myself, or should I get pre-sharpened one instead?

  You could get these and Just sharpen them yourself! It’s more for the time spent sharpening pencils during class that the school is trying to avoid.

  Either should be fine! I’m guessing they say that because they don’t want to spend hours sharpening them the first day. I’d do these and sharpen them and you should be fine

  I don’t know if Walmart sells the real Ticonderoga but it’s $10.95, same price as Sam’s Club if you’re not a member.

  I ordered this last year, they were real. They hold up to use better than any other brand pencil. And yes, be a lifesaver and presharpen your pencils for your child’s teacher.
