  I’m an XL and boybriefs are definitely my favorite but honestly I haven’t had a real problem with any that I’ve tried. The boybriefs stay in place though and they are soft and stretchy all in the right way. Loves these!!!

    These are definitely true to size. I wear a Medium in VS, Target’s Gilligan & O’Malley and Xhilaration brands, Hanes, and Fruit of the Loom and a Medium in Aerie fits perfectly. HTH!

    My teenage daughters and I love this underwear. They are 5’8″ and weigh around 118 and wear a size small. I’m 5’6″ and weigh the same and wear a medium. The boyshorts are my favorite. We love when they have this sale because underwear prices are so outrageous and these really last.

    I love supporting Aerie because they use unretouched photos. It’s refreshing to see rolls, cellulite, freckles, and skin imperfections. It’s actually easier for me to imagine how a pair of undies might look on me when I see a gal with bigger hips wearing them. VS needs to take note, not everyone has perfect skin and the body shape of a 10 year old boy!

    Sorry for another size question- so the waistbands cut in at all? I am normally a medium but often size up because I hate waistbands cutting into my love handles, but now I have a c-section scar after baby #5 (higher than the average bikini cut though so harder to miss) and I hate having anything hit me at that point. I am so afraid to buy panties because everything I try makes me feel crummy about my body!! I would love to find some that work, especially at this price.

  I ordered these once (I’ve always worn VS) in my usual size of L and they were still too tight. I prefer the VS hiphugger panties as I, too, do not like the “dig-in” effect of most waistbands. VS is actually having their annual sale right now and some panties are as low as $3.99! I also recently discovered GapBody panties – I got them in an XL and they fit great. HTH

  Hey Bryn, I’m with ya. I am a size 8-10 (ALWAYS in-between the medium and large). My straight torso, slight love handles, and barely-there butt are always at odds. The waistbands cut in yet the butt is too big. I ended up trying the “Real Me” boybrief – and wow! amazing! It’s like a second skin – soft and super stretchy panty-hose type fabric. I went with a medium and they’re perfect. No cutting in on the love handles!

    In regards to sizing, I’m normally a size 4-5 in jeans, 5’7” and 120lb. I get a small for thongs and medium for bikini or boyfrief cut undies 😊 I made the mistake of order small in bikini cut at aerie & they didn’t fit very well. I guess I have a wide-ish full butt lol but thongs in a small don’t cover the cheeks 🤷🏼‍♀️
