Thank you! Our laptop recently broke and we have been thinking about getting a MacBook and it looks like now is the best time. Also for anyone who is buying, RetailMeNot has $50 cashback on $500 purchase and $100 cashback on $1000 purchase. Ebates also has 1% cashback but that’s not as good as RetailMeNot.

Our entire district uses Apple products from K-12. Every 3 years they have a sell back program. Last year we scored 32gb Ipads for $75 and Mac Books for$180. We did get 2 ipads. They should have another buy back in 2 years and I will then buy my daughter who will be a junior in HS a Macbook for her to take to college. You might want to call your schools if they use Apple products and see if they have a buy back program. Many people do not know about it at all. I just had my 2012 Macbook onlinepletely updated for less than $200 from a local onlineputer shop. They were awesome and I told them about the buy back program. It is open to the public and first onlinee first serve.
