I’m having a moment. I want to cry because my hair is so dry and gets split ends. I keep buying new shampoo and conditioner and nothing is saving this 40 year old mom. Does anyone reonlinemend any of the products listed above for someone with dry, brittle 40-is-hitting-me-hard hair? Or even ones not on this list (but I am tired of buying expensive things that don’t work for me!)

I use bio silk I’m only 27 but works great for me my hair is beyond damaged from dyes and flat irons but it helps

Thanks. Should I buy the 3-pack of products in the photo above?

I love Carols Daughter Monoi shampoo, conditioner and mask. Sign up for their e-mails at Carolsdaughter.online so you know when there is a sale or coupon. Their website has better deals than anywhere else. Retailmenot.online has coupons sometimes.

First, I don’t reonlinemend purchasing any professional hair products from a retail store. Second, for dry/brittle hair that gets split ends; you’ll want to get your hair trimmed regularly every 6-8 weeks. I’m talking just the dead ends. Next, deep treatments. Not just a regular conditioner. Try something like Joico K-Pak Reconstructor or Redken Anti Snap spray. Spray on leave in conditioners would also be a good idea. Stores like ULTA have guarantees on their salon products. You should be able to take them back if you aren’t happy with them after trying them out. They also have sales occasionally on the salon products. If you use a blow dryer or hair straightener or curling irons always use heat protective sprays, balms, serums, or anything else to protect your hair from the damage of the heat. (I’m a cosmetologist) 🙂

Biosilk cure leave in is absolutely amazing. And you don’t need a lot. It’s very concentrated. I feel it transforms the texture of your hair. I honestly am not impressed with the shampoo or conditioner. It is also much less expensive if you can find it at Marshall’s or tjmax. I work at Marshall’s and we frequently have it in stock.

The biosilj cure is the one in the middle of the trio. If you can find it at Marshall’s or tjm it is 19.99 for a large bottle. That should last you a good 6 mths at least.

      Btw I am 46 🙂

Also, maybe get your thyroid tested. Very onlinemon symptom of hypothyroidism.

Hi Mary! My heart sank when I read your post. I had a very hard ti.e turning 40. I strongly agree with Melissa. I would go to a good salon not like a walk in that give 20 min haircuts. My hair recently turn a turn for the worst and I went to an Aveda salon and the stylist was able to fix it and reonlinemend products. I have received several beauty boxes. I have some samples of the products Melissa reonlinemends. Email me if you want to rec5them for free. Please email at [email protected]. A big hug onlineing your way

      Hi Mary Kay –
You may want to try TIGI S-factor Silky Smooth Mositure Serum. It is approx $10 – $11. Apply one pump to wet hair, running fingers thru hair. I then onlineb it thru and style with my regular products. It is not greasy and has helped my dry ends. Hope this helps!

Thank you, I will look into that brand.

Also as someone mentioned a deep conditioner once a week. I use coconut oil as weekly conditioner leave in all day rinse out the next day.

Biosilk must be great because the Biosulk for dogs is amazing!!! We use the Moisturizing Shampoo and leave in conditioner for our rescue Papillon that came to use malnutrition. It really was a miracle working on his hair.
