Can someone in the dental profession onlinement on whether this actually does anything more for your gum health than any other toothpaste?

I wondered the same & looked at the lowest ratings on the Crest website. The ingredients are usually telling of it’s effectiveness. I’m not in the profession but thought I’d share that reviewers post: “It’s interesting that I couldn’t find the ingredient list on Crest’s website. I’ve added it below. I don’t see how any of these ingredients can detoxify the gums. In fact, a few are considered toxins and some are suspected carcinogens. The silica will clean and the zinc citrate ican be healing; the rest I can do without. When I saw this product advertised,I thought maybe Proctor & Gamble adopted some holisric ideas sich as using adsorptive activated charcoal to detoxify. I thought wrong. I”ll stick to using Magic Mud with a special Hartfelt toothbrush so it doesn’t splatter. It leaves my teeth and gums so clean and actually draws out toxins vs. introducing them Active ingredient Stannous fluoride 0.454% (0.14% w/v fluoride ion) Inactive Ingredients: water, sorbitol, hydrated silica, sodium lauryl sulfate, carrageenan, sodium gluconate, flavor, xanthan gum, zinc citrate, stannous chloride, sodium saccharin, sodium hydroxide, sucralose, titanium dioxide

I am currently using this toothpaste (sale + coupon + Ibotta), and although my gums are in pretty good shape (husband’s are not!), I am not noticing the foaming action this toothpaste talks about. I would suggest using any other toothpaste that contains stannous fluoride. I believe Crest’s own Pro Health line contains stannous fluoride, and is much less expensive.

Basically every single toothpaste has the same ingredients. It’s all marketing bs imo.

I save money by not brushing my teeth lol
